Corner Creek is implementing programs that will provide
hands on learning about horses, breeds, different styles of riding, horse tack, horse care, and beginning to ride lessons
for kids and adults. We will be focused on clients learning to love and respect animals, and learning to care for them! We
will constantly give thanks to the Lord for them!
We have currently been doing donation only lessons with kids
that the Lord has brought us for the past 10 years, and will continue to do this. We have received letters
of love and thanks, not only from the kids but from the parents and grandparents as well! We continually give thanks
to the Lord for bringing us all these special families.
Our goals have been to not only help the kids find confidence
and abilities they didn't know they had, but also to bring families together. We have done this by giving credit
to the Lord for all things, and He has blessed these families along the way with the help of our horses and critters
who have paved that way many times!
We often do fun shows where the kids can use their
new skills and build confidence. The kids learn to help and support each other as well. We ride at the shows, not
to win, but to give it our best, and win or lose, everyone is encouraged and loved!
The donation only classes are group lessons, and each child
has an experienced assistant that works with them. They ride one day a week for approximately an hour. They are taught
to groom, saddle, and ride safely. We all gather round with the horses at each session, and give a prayer to our Lord for
His blessings, our thanks, and for any needs that may be present not only at Corner Creek but in our familes here as well.
We also give one on one lessons, where we work with the individual
rider, not in a group session. This fills a need for for some kids as well. We have a set donation of $25
to $30 an hour for these.
We are currently full for the 2010 summer, but are always
willing to add your name to our will call list, should someone not be able to make it! We will be doing lessons this
year on Monday evenings when the weather is below 90 degrees and over 50!

We are also looking for sponsors and welcome donations. Donations
can be lots of things, money, hay, assistance, tack, and we truly appreciate all prayers of support as well!!
